Crows in a Rows is an educational program that encourages participants to consider how death is inextricable from life, despite society’s masterful avoidance of mortality. Along with practical guidance for making tangible plans, lessons of impermanence are revealed as you find ways to integrate death into life. Module 5: An ethical will is the wisdom passed down from generation to generation. It has been interpreted as something you write (or videotape) and hand off. However, we invite you to contemplate if it’s less about what you leave and more about what you live.

Module 6: Practice bearing witness from the perspective of grief by writing, and/or receiving an obituary, eulogy, and epitaph. You might not end up using these, but capturing this moment in time, with the help of those close to you, can change the rest of time.
